Many of the enjoyable events at Tanyard Cove are planned by our builders. We also have an Adventure Club that plans and organizes fantastic fun each month for residents, their extended families and the public. Here are our upcoming events.
The next Tanyard Cove Adventure Club event will be our ever-popular Intro to Family Camping and it will be held on Saturday, October 7th from 3-6pm at the Waterfront Park. The guides of Terrapin Adventures will introduce families to the basics of camping without the anxiety of an overnight stay. We will talk about equipment for car camping and backpacking & actually have families set up tents and camp sites, collect firewood on a brief nature hike and then do some hands on campfire cooking with s’mores at the end. This is appropriate for ages 3 and up. Capacity is a total of 30 people
Please send all of your participants’ info (Name, Address, Email, Phone #, Age) to email@example.com by October 5th.
Is there a better way to kick off a meal than with a delicious crab dip appetizer? Didn’t think so. Follow along with Old Bay’s recipe for crab dip that’s creamy, hot, and chock-full of crabmeat.
We all know it wouldn’t be a Maryland party without some good old fashioned crab cakes, and this recipe straight off the back of the original Old Bay can is our favorite go-to.
After you walk the quarter mile trail through the haunted forest, enjoy a pavilion area with face-painting, arts and crafts, games and other Halloween-related activities geared toward younger guests.
One of our favorite local wineries, Great Frogs offers tastings with a beautiful view all year long. This weekend, stop by on New Year’s Eve Day for live, local music and bring home a few bottles for your midnight toast.
